Cancer Council NSW is one of the largest non-government funders of cancer research in Australia. Our goal is to fund world-class, ground-breaking research to cover all aspects of cancer control (causes, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and survivorship) and to drive major advances in research.
In the past 5 years alone, Cancer Council NSW has invested $86 million into essential cancer research.
Funds are awarded for research deemed (i) through a process of peer review to be of the highest scientific merit; and (ii) through a process of consumer review to be of value to the community which supports us.
