How to protect your skin
UV radiation is responsible for more than 95% of all skin cancers in Australia, which means when we protect our skin we reduce our risk.
UV can come directly from the sun, or indirectly through scattering and reflection by the atmosphere, clouds, the ground, water and reflective materials such as rooves. Even in the shade you can still be exposed to UV reflection, which is why we recommend you use more than one form of sun protection.
