Sarah Penman
Sarah Penman is the National Pro Bono Manager at Cancer Council NSW. She trained as a lawyer and started her career as a corporate lawyer, and was heavily involved in pro bono work at her firm. She moved to Cancer Council NSW in January 2011 as a Pro Bono Case Manager, helping to facilitate the delivery of free legal and financial planning assistance to people affected by cancer. At the time she started at Cancer Council, the Pro Bono Programs had been running for less than a year and were available in NSW only. Over the past 3 years, the Pro Bono Programs have expanded to be available across the country, and has received referrals for over 7,000 clients. Sarah enjoys working to deliver truly life-changing professional services to assist people affected by cancer.
