Lauren is the Acting Manager of the 13 11 20 Information and Support service, leading a team of experienced health professionals to provide emotional support, evidenced based information, and referral to programs and services for people affected by cancer. Common enquires to the information and support service include;
- How to cope with treatment and its side effects
- Assistance with legal, financial and transport to treatment
- End of life care
- Information about services, resources or support groups
Lauren is also a Project Manager for new supportive care initiatives and has a Master’s Degree in Public Health, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business, She has experience in program delivery, community engagement, and operations management in the not-for-profit sector. Lauren has developed community advocacy networks, implemented prevention programs, conducted extensive community consultations, and worked with a range of stakeholder groups including cancer treatment centres, local governments, schools, and businesses.
