Professor Jane Phillips
Jane Phillips is the Director and Professor of Palliative Nursing at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), and has extensive experience in cancer and chronic disease nursing and research.
She has led major cancer and palliative care reform initiatives at local and national levels.
In 2017, she established a Consumer Advisory Group to co-design patient-focused palliative care research and education initiatives in partnership with the IMPACCT team at UTS.
She is a Fellow at the Australian College of Nursing; President, Palliative Care Nurses Australia; and a member of the Cancer Nurses Society Australia, Clinical Oncology Society of Australia, International Society Nursing Cancer Care, NSW Palliative Care Association and the Sigma Theta Tau International, Honour Society of Nursing, Xi Omicron Chapter.
